5-STEP AT-HOME FACIAL
Step 1: Cleanse
For both men and women, start with a mild cleanser to keep pores clear. Quick F.Y.I.: If you're using a product for the first time and feel burning, it may be a little too strong for your skin type.
Step 2: Exfoliate
Give skin a healthy glow by exfoliating with a mild facial scrub once a week to remove dead skin cells off the surface.
Step 3: Steam
Steaming your face helps open up and clean out pores. Run hot water in the sink and drape a towel over your head and lean forward for as long as you can stand it - three minutes is ideal.
Step 4: Tone
To close pores back up, follow the steam session with a splash of cold water or a toner.
Step 5: Moisturize
Invest in a quality, hydrating moisturizer with at least SPF 15. For oilier skin, choose an oil-free moisturizer with an SPF. And eye cream is a must for all skin types and ages.
